01 / A place for tertiary arts and creative education

Who should join

Universities, colleges, conservatoires, arts schools, creative training institutions, professional bodies and credible industry contributors can guide, advise and exhibit in the Creative Futures Exchange.

What you can offer

An exhibition presence; an accessible pathway talk; a supervised portfolio or audition discussion; mentoring; demonstrations of creative practice; enterprise advice; or clearly verified admissions and funding information.

The public experience

The proposed programme includes a pathway pavilion, portfolio/audition studio, creative-economy stage, talent showcase and parent/teacher conversations. Each contribution should leave a student with clearer information and a useful next step.

Why it belongs

Young people deserve space to be heard and practical ways to turn that voice into understanding, connection and action. The Exchange helps a creative moment become a more informed decision about learning, work and future possibility.

02 / Guidance appropriate to age

Discovery approximately ages 10–12

Introduce creative possibilities through demonstration and imagination. This is exploration, without recruitment pressure or personal-data capture.

Exploration approximately ages 13–15

Offer supervised conversations about skills, subjects and pathways. Keep information age-appropriate and bring teachers and guardians into follow-up.

Transition approximately ages 16–19

Give clear portfolio, audition, study, costs and entry information. Any named-institution introduction needs separate permission and an appropriate adult route for minors.

Trust and verification

Representatives must demonstrate authority to speak for their institution. Disclose fees, eligibility, deadlines, costs and any agency relationship. No unverified scholarship, admission, visa, employment or placement promises.

03 / Join as a pathway contributor

Propose a session or exhibit

Provide the institution, authorised adult representative, discipline, intended age band, activity, staffing, access needs, information sources and proposed follow-up. Clarify what the visitor will learn or do.

Participant protections

No bulk student lists, automatic marketing enrolment, unsupervised private contact with minors or health disclosures. Follow-up is voluntary, purpose-specific and separately consented.

Your next step

Register via the Creative Futures Exchange route on the website. The Secretariat and careers lead will discuss fit, verification, space, supervision, costs and programme capacity. Participation is confirmed only by agreement.
