The Memory Gallery

A legacy becomes a living question.

Students interpret the contribution of approved deceased public and creative figures and organisational founders, then ask what we choose to carry forward.

Begin with a sourced contribution

The curator approves the subject and concept before production. Students distinguish verified biography from their own artistic interpretation and clear relevant rights.

Make the quality visible

A portrait, poem, film, performance or installation can express a quality worth continuing. The creative response invites an action, not just admiration.

Protect the boundaries

Political figures and private pupil, family and staff memorials are excluded. Sponsorship never buys a favourable biography, control of interpretation or access to student stories.
